Sample Teacher Timetable (G6-G12)

0800-1400

MSHS teachers continue to operate within the existing timetable.

It is recommended that teachers post instructions for the lesson on Google Classroom but also arrange a Google Meet for the first 10-15 minutes of the lesson in order to field any questions from students. This session is recorded and posted in Google Classroom for any students who missed it.  The teacher is available online for the reminder of the lesson. Communication is through the class comment function of Google Classroom and the teacher may at any point call the class back for a short Google Meet synchronous session if deemed necessary.

The teachers will monitor tasks and contribute to any discussions as well as giving general feedback via google classroom. Individual feedback if required may be done through the individual google doc for each student for a specified task. If a teacher requires to send a general comment to a student, this is done via either Google Hangouts or Gmail.

Attendance is taken via SchoolBase and monitored. Continued non-attendance/disengagement of students is reported to Principals and Deputy Principals.
