Grade 3-Grade 5
Continuous Learning in the Elementary School supports children’s development through experiential learning and inquiry. Learning offers authentic opportunities to focus on key concepts, knowledge, and skills. Learning engagements are fun and playful and emphasize interaction and creativity. Activities involve a balance of on-screen and off-screen tasks designed to engage learners in experiences that connect to previous learning and the current curriculum. Students will be able to access Continuous Learning from their teachers using Google Classroom & Google Meets.

Approved Online Learning Platforms:
Class Dojo (grades K3-G2): Allows for assigning lessons, examples of activities, links to websites
Seesaw (grades K3-G2):  Allows for sharing of work, demonstrating activities
Zoom (K3 -G2): Allows for video conferencing and recording.

Teachers will continue to work based on their current class schedule.

0800-0815: Attendance taken via SchoolBase.
0815-0845: Face-to-Face lesson instructions via Google Meets on the assigned schedule subject (Science, Social Studies, Math or ELA). Allotted Google Meets time is flexible depending on instructional needs.
0845-0945: Teacher available online to work with students on questions or assignments via Google Classroom.
0945-1000: Break
1000-1030: Face-to-Face lesson instructions via Google Meets on the assigned schedule subject (Science, Social Studies, Math or ELA). Allotted Google Meets time is flexible depending on instructional needs.

1030-1130: Teacher available online to work with students on questions or assignments via Google Classroom.
11:30-12:30: Lunch
12:30-1:00: Face-to-Face lesson instructions via Google Meets on the assigned schedule subject (Science, Social Studies, Math or ELA). Allotted Google Meets time is flexible depending on instructional needs.
1:00-1:45: Teacher available online to work with students on questions or assignments. via Google Classroom.
1:45-2:00: Face-to-Face for daily recap, discussion and questions via Google Meets.
2:00-3:00: Teacher joins planning meeting (Google Meets) with grade level teachers to plan new lessons.
3:00-4:15: Teacher writes and plans new learning activities, updates Google Classroom. Professional development provided by Cco where necessary.

Upload welcome message and pre recorded lesson and activities for the subject that day onto Google Classroom
